The BPSC exam calendar contains a TRE-4 entry with 46,595 in the vacancy column and tentative exam dates of 22 – 27 September 2026. However, the calendar also shows a departmental postponement status, and a detailed recruitment advertisement/application window was not available on the portal when this page was updated.
Therefore, 46,595 should be described only as the official calendar figure – not as a final advertised vacancy count or an open application. Different figures circulating online must not be treated as final until BPSC publishes the detailed advertisement.

CTET 2026 Is an Eligibility Test, Not a Job Notification
CTET September 2026 is scheduled for 6 September 2026. Its application window was 11 May to 10 June 2026. Paper I is for Classes I – V, while Paper II is for Classes VI – VIII. Candidates intending to teach both levels must take both papers.Passing CTET does not create a right to appointment. It is only one eligibility condition; the recruiting authority separately checks education, subject combination, age, category and experience. CTET certificates are valid for life, but State Government schools may require the relevant State TET unless their recruitment rules accept CTET.
